Symptoms

There are many symptoms associated with nasal polyps. This list includes: headaches, loss of smell or taste, congestion, drainage, nosebleeds, postnasal drip, pressure or pain in the sinuses, and snoring. Prevention

While polyps typically do not display until someone is in their 30s or 40s, any methods of reducing inflammation are a great way to prevent nasal polyps. So utilizing a humidifier, taking allergy medications, or using a nasal rinse can all help reduce the risk of getting nasal polyps.

If you are having any nasal issues and potentially suspect nasal polyps, you need to see an ear, nose, and throat specialist to be diagnosed and solve your ENT problems. If you are looking for help with relieving congestion, sinus infections, or ear problems, book your appointment with Light ENT today!
