Your sinuses are a series of hollow cavities in the skull. Surrounding the eye sockets, the purpose of the sinuses is to act as passageways. Each of your sinuses has a narrow channel that leads to the nose.

Otology & Neurotology
The ear is connected to the brain by an intricate series of nerves. Neuro-Otology focuses on the neurological components of the auditory (hearing) and vestibular (balance) systems within the ear.

Sleep Apnea
Snoring occurs during sleep when muscles in your mouth relax too much. The sound comes from the back of the throat, or occasionally from the nose when the muscles at the back of your mouth, throat, and tongue relax. Whenever your muscles relax, they expand slightly. In doing so, they narrow the airways.
